Some important doctor gets killed by a man who looks like Brian! Brian's sister, on vacation in New York, looks at some pictures and cries. During breakfast she steals Not-Brian's napkin and glass to get his fingerprints...and the plot is on its way. The prints are Brian's, and there are more tears! Brian had disappeared some time before with the son of his crying sister and her geek husband. But instead of now involving the hapless police, they opt to confront Brian; he denies himself. Then the police change their minds, and Brian goes crazy. He tries to impale his head on a door. Doesn't work. Enter the restaurant where Joey, the son, is promptly discovered. He is as forgetful of himself as Brian, and there are more tears, more police and threats to call the F.B.I. "FOOLISH!" Cops don't like that sort of thing, so the couple is promptly hijacked and innoculated for hypoglycemia and carbon monoxide poisoning. Meanwhile, the police burn an important piece of paper. OOPS! Dad's memory is re-programmed as somebody else's! Then we discover that: SHOCKER! So is mom's! They think they're other people! Its love at first sight for the forgetful, married couple. Mushrooms are as boundless as love and seem to be the key to exposing a government conspiracy to eradicate crime. At this point a moral dilemma is subliminally introduced: is it wrong for a married couple who, forgetting they are married, have "pre-marital", married, amnesiac sex? We'll never know, because they've been bugged! Dad gets suspicious, and as suspicious people do, he finds a room stocked full of computer disks. Computers don't lie...and dad discovers that his whole family has been brainwashed! The forgetful couple kidnaps their own forgetful son.
